Philosophical Theology 1 (TH5)
Philosophy (literally “love of wisdom”) teaches us how to think well and to draw right conclusions – something that seems all too lacking in the world today. Christian philosophy teaches us to think well within the context of the witness of Scripture and God’s will for us as followers of Jesus. This course will be an introduction to the basics of Christian philosophical theology, and will cover basic logic, epistemology, metaphysics, philosophy of religion, philosophy of science, human nature and philosophy of politics, ethics and aesthetics.
Fridays, 1-3 PM, Aug. 15-Oct. 3, 2014 (7 sessions – No class on September 5)
